Project Overview & Background
The Office Management System (OMS) is an enterprise-grade platform developed for Nep Tech Pal Pvt. Ltd. designed to streamline daily business operations and workflow automation. During my internship, I worked as part of the core engineering team focusing on Django REST backend modules and Next.js frontend integration. The platform centralizes file storage, project assignments, employee tracking, and scheduling into a unified, secure dashboard with robust role-based access control.
Key Features & Technical Contributions
- Built Files, Projects, Staff, and Calendar backend modules with Django and Django REST Framework.
- Designed and implemented REST APIs connecting the Django backend with a Next.js frontend.
- Implemented granular role-based authentication, authorization, and application permissions.
- Engineered CRUD operations, database queries, and structured document storage.
- Collaborated with the frontend and QA teams to debug, refine, and optimize production workflows.
